About Amanda

Amanda Rose (she/her) is a documentary associate producer based in New York City. She graduated from Tufts University in 2019, with degrees in Film & Media, Political Science, and Theater, Dance, & Performance Studies. When she wasn’t acting, directing, producing, or choreographing for several student performance groups, Amanda squeezed in nine internships, learning from mentors at PBS FRONTLINE, The Boston Globe Magazine, The WNET Group, and Gunpowder & Sky.

Amanda spent her first two years out of college as an Assignment Editor at WCVB-TV, working in-person through the worst of the COVID-19 crisis in MA. Outside the newsroom, she edited a documentary about science diplomacy in North Korea, developed unscripted content with The Content Farm, and prevented Bostonians from running down George Clooney on the set of The Tender Bar.

Since the summer of 2021, Amanda has called Manhattan her home. After working at the desk of RadicalMedia for a few months, she dove into the freelance world as a transcriptionist, researcher and now an associate producer with amazing people at High Five Content, Part2 Pictures, Show of Force, and Story Syndicate.

She premiered her first feature-length independent documentary in the summer of 2023, ROSH COVID, which is available to stream upon request.
